明治時代、洋装への需要が高まる中で、
京都・西陣の長年に渡る製織技術が注目されました。
この技術を生かし、それまで日本国内に存在しなかった「ワイシャツの上から着用するのに適したネクタイ生地」という新しいテキスタイルの開発が求められました。
小さな面積にさらに小さなデザインを詰め込んだネクタイ生地は、西陣の職人たちの技術と経験の結晶。
まさに、長い旅の果てに見つけた地図にない宝物のような存在と言えるでしょう。
かつての職人達はそれを『ネクタイ織』と称し、現在も研鑽を重ねています。
私たちタイヨウネクタイが誇るシルクジャカード生地（ネクタイ織）は、光と影の間で柔らかく変化する水が流れるような光沢と、肌にフィットする生地の質感が快適さとともにエレガントな印象を与えます。

In the Meiji Era, as demand for Western-style clothing increased,
The long-standing weaving techniques of Kyoto's Nishijin district attracted attention.
This technology was called upon to develop a new textile, a "necktie fabric suitable for wearing over shirts," which had not existed in Japan until then.
Necktie fabric, with even smaller designs packed into a smaller area, is the fruit of the skill and experience of the craftsmen of Nishijin.
It is truly like an unmapped treasure found at the end of a long journey.
The craftsmen of the past called it "necktie weaving" and continue to study it to this day.
The silk jacquard fabric (tie weaving) that we at Taiyo Neckties are proud of has a luster like flowing water that softly changes between light and shadow, and the texture of the fabric fits the skin, giving it an elegant impression as well as a comfortable feel.
We continue to see infinite possibilities in the universal beauty of fabrics that transcend time and country.
